Rides at the Fair

Hey guys. I don't know if any of you have taken the kids to the fair for those rides that are always there that you can see from Sangamon. We drove by today and the train and all the rides were going so we stopped by. Someone actually gave us bracelets when we walked in for free (they cost $15) so that made it even better. There are several rides for kids under 48 inches. Raymond rode the cars, helipocters and the aligator rollercoaster. He loved it. They close at 3pm so we were only there about an hour. I still need to figure out their schedule. Someone said the last day is Saturday, noon-3. If you're looking for something fun to do, I recommend it. Raymond had a blast. I had to call Eric to meet us with the camera. The only thing Raymond wouldn't do is the little kids area where you can jump and climb and play in the balls.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

I had to share, this recipe was really easy and sooooo yummy. ENJOY!!

Ingredients:

4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

2 tablespoons butter

2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup

1 onion, finely diced (I used minced onion)

2 (10 ounce) packages refrigerated biscuit dough, torn into pieces

DIRECTIONS:
1. Place the chicken, butter, soup, and onion in a slow cooker and fill with enough water to cover.
2. Cover, and cook for about 5-6 hours on High. About 30 minutes before serving, place the torn biscuit dough in the slow cooker. Cook until the dough is no longer raw in the center.
